The Potomac Institute for Policy Studies is pleased to announce that Senior Fellow and Board of Regents Member, The Honorable Charles Herzfeld, PhD, (in an early photo, left)  has been inducted into the Internet Society's Internet Hall of Fame in Geneva, Switzerland.  The Hall of Fame notes on its website that "Charles Herzfeld served as director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) in the 1960s. Under his leadership, he recognized the importance of computers and oversaw the decision for the creation of ARPANET, which eventually became the Internet." Dr. Herzfeld was named an "Internet Hall of Fame Pioneer."
